Position Statements

NYASP has created position statements to help provide guidance on important topics related to school psychology. Position statements represent the official policy of NYASP and are approved by the NYASP Executive Board. Position statements have been created on the Rights and Autonomy of Indigenous Persons, Virtual Assessment Clarification, Tele-Assessment, and Discrimination. The position statement Reopening Schools for In-Person Learning was created by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and is featured on NYASP's Website. Please contact us to recommend a change or to suggest that a new position or resolution be established.
